Head of the Knowledge Graph Lab, Professor of Scalable AI in the Research Unit for Databases and Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Informatics at TU Wien, and Vice Dean of Academic Affairs. Previously, he headed the VADA Lab at the University of Oxford.
Senior post-doc in Databases and Artificial Intelligence. Her research interests are in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning and Data Management, at the intersection between deductive logic-based and inductive methods of Artificial Intelligence. She also has a special interest in data modeling, particularly Knowledge Graphs.
PreDoc Researcher in the Databases and Artificial Intelligence Group at TU Wien. His research focuses on Neurosymbolic AI, with a particular interest in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) with structured, logic-based reasoning systems. He is part of the BilAI Cluster of Excellence.
Pursuing a PhD in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning in Financial Graphs at TU Wien, with a special focus on Temporal Knowledge Graphs. Livia holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. Since 2020, she has worked at the Bank of Italy as part of the Applied Research Team (ART).
Pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at TU Wien. His research lies in the field of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KRR), with a particular focus on distributed automated reasoning. With the rise of Large Language Models, he has expanded his research interests to include neurosymbolic reasoning.
Visiting Scientist at TU Wien. His research focuses on Ontological Reasoning over complex Knowledge Graphs. He also works on integrating the expressive capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) with logical reasoning, aiming to develop high-fidelity and knowledge-grounded AI systems.
Master's student at TU Wien. As part of the Knowledge Graph Lab team, Roxana has been involved in the Research Spheres project for almost a year. Within the team, she has contributed across the full pipeline of building TU Wien’s organizational and scholarly knowledge graph.
Master's student at TU Wien and part of the Innovation Incubation Center. At the KG Lab, he has been involved in the Research Spheres project as part of his master’s thesis, contributing to the development of TU Wien’s organizational and scholarly knowledge graph.
The Knowledge Graph Lab at TU Wien is part of the Database and Artificial Intelligence (DBAI) group at the Institute of Logic and Computation of the Faculty of Informatics. It is funded by the Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) under the Vienna Research Group scheme - "Vienna Research Group on Scalable Reasoning in Knowledge Graphs" (VRG18-013).
